Default tire question

hey whats up, i have a question. i was on discount tire direct website and put in my car info and the recommendation they give for 20s in the rear is a 275/35/20. my question is, is that correct. right now i am running a 275/30/20 and was thinking about running a 285/30/20. any thoughts???

Well it's just a recommendation. I see you have an 10'' wide wheel. I'd go with an 285 also. But being 20's with 285's and your lowered. Make sure you don't have any rubbing issues first. This way you can return them before it's to late.

My preference would be a 285/25/19 personally - there are some members here who run 20s with that size and I think it fits better. For reference I am running 265/30/19 and 275/30/19 front and rear, but am pretty low as well. The shorter sidewall doesnt really look good if the car is not low enough IMO though.

edit:
-Here is a sweet setup if you have the right width to pull off the tire sizing:

The front tires are 0.5 mm taller than the rear. You realise this correct?

Edit: No matter. I just noticed that you have the Base.

The stock 350Z is about 18 mm taller in the rear. Altering the difference effects handling. Since you are lowered with 20-inch wheels, I doubt if it matters.
