What other exterior mods are you planning on doing (if any)?IMHO, the wheels need to fit the character of the car as a whole. If you are going with a cleaner body kit that has swooping lines (along the lines, say, of the INGS Half kit), then a more traditional wheel (5 star) in a classier color (silver, gunmetal, etc.) would look best (think Volk GTC, or BBS mesh).
If on the other hand you plan on doing a more aggressive kit (INGS N Spec for example) then something a bit more aggressive and unexpected would work out well - this is where a gold with polished lip could really set the car off (Work Meister S2R as shown on that S2k would be terrific).
Black spokes with a polished lip look cleanest on a darker car IMHO - remember the darker the center, the "smaller" the wheel will look as well.
There are TONS of great looking wheels for this car. The geat thing is that the car has a very simple, clean design. It's a good mix of angles and cruves, so it lends itself to a wide range of wheels - one of the widest ranges out there right now I think.
Go into the wheel gallery or body kit gallery and search around...figure out what look you are going for, and I guarantee the right wheels will come to you!
I agonized for a long time while waiting for my car as to what wheels I wanted to go with. I ultimately sat down and planned the car in my head after looking at website after website, mainly from the Japanese tuners. I chose the Work Emotion because I felt it would fit with the look I was going for on my car. While the wheels looked rather plain when the car was stock, once my kit was fitted it looked killer. I ended up buying another set as well (SSR Professor with black spokes, polished lip), but to this day have not installed them because I honestly cannot picture the car looking nearly as purposeful as it does now
Only other wheel I can picture my own car with at this point is the BBS LM
Good luck man - the yellow is a rare color, so choose carefully!

Black out the windows with Tint and throw a nice set of black (not hyper) wheels on it with a nice polished lip, and if available some polished accents in the center lu and bolt area. Volks SF Challenges come time ind.
It will look super nice/hot, but the black wheels will only set it off if you tint the windows to match. IMO

Wheels on Ultra Yellow
It's finally my 21st birthday next month and time to buy wheels. I've already got my choices for style but my question is on color. Yellow just seems like such a hard color to get anything for other than black or silver. I really liked the bronze/gold when the JUN Z came out but have still yet to see another one like it. I've searched around everywhere looking at wheels on UY's but just haven't found many, can some of you other UY guys post some pic's of your wheels up?

05' ultra yellow, no clue for specs!
Looking into purchasing some new wheels as I've kept it stock since I bought my Z. Don't really want to go black and yellow as everyone including they're mother have done that color combo. The wheels I've been looking into are more along the lines of an alloy finish, but also close to a light gunmetal, despite the color they're names listed as (Hyper Black) I think they would go well with the ultra yellow paint. What do you guys think? They are Varrstoen's es 222. I'm going with 18x8.5 +25 (fronts) and 18x9.5 +22 (rears) don't get me wrong the 19's would be amazing, just wanna keep it an inch above the stock 17's. Any other ideas on wheels that the paint could rock with would help. Thanks!
