This will be my winter set up, do you guys think it looks better with all the gunmetal color??

 

Not really. I love that Blue and Silver Combo. The Black makes the Blue dull. Just my Honest Opinion. I was actually debating the same thing for winter having my 18 stockers painted black, but my car is SilverStone and would match better. Still looks good, just makes the blue look off or something.

 

I don't really like THOSE stock rims..the stock of the 06 I'm never going to change. If I had the choice and they weren't stock I would pick them over any of the other rims because they suit the Z so nicely.

Those rims in the picture though just look too.....toyota camry'ish.

I love the colour 'gun metal', looks nice but the colour of blue you have on your Z doesn't really look good with it. That colour would suit white, black and rust and silver. I think silver/super black rims go with that colour of blue.

I can't see the pics of your car because I am at work, but on blue car, check out the Mazdaspeed Protege's rims from 2004. They are a hyper silver color; they look vicious!

gunmetals look good with silver or black.

 

The stock look, looks way better, but IMO the look of a clean stock 350z always better thant 3g's in carbon fiber and painted parts all over the place. I would just change the rims though.

 

this is how my car looks now and the only reason i will paint the 17's is to match the smoked corners and painted grey center lower chin. I have the stock 06 but not gonna touch those.

gunmetal imho is a lighter color than you have done with the photochop.
