I just bought a set of 19's for my car. The rear tire is 19 x 9.5 with an ofset of 20. What is the widest tire size I can fit on the car without rubbing. Will a rim with that offset fit a 285 or 295 without any rubbing issue?

 

285 is the widest safe width to go, without addressing offset and rubbing. 295 is outside of the safe manufacturer's specs for that width wheel

 

+1, a 285 shouldn't rub with that offset.

 

I would run a 285/35 but there is a slight chance it may rub. Are you lowered?

 

No I'm not lowerd. I want to go with 285's for a little wider look than 275's but I just was't sure if they would rub or not.

 

mines are 285 on a 9.5 , looks perfect, the sidewalls are not buldged out, you will be fine.
