Default How bad are run-flats????

just put my new work xd9's with kumho mx on yesterday....after driving home i was taking a closer look at the wheels and tire and found out that they gave me run-flats for the rears instead!!! then i called the place where i ordered the wheels and tire from and he said the kumho mx in that size were back ordered so he got me the run-flats instead for the same price! he said the difference shouldn't be significant! but right after i found out, i did feel that the car had less of a push than before. i don't know if it's the run-flat's, the wider tires or i just couldn't get out of my mind that i have heavy tires! any comments??

I think you're just lucky. lol. I'd get them changed only cause theres a slight wieght difference. I think its like 1-2 lbs when I was looking for tires. If it doesn't pull (1 lane over 15 seconds) then you're fine.

Runflat MX's instead of "Regular" MX's ?

You're imagining things. The car would feel different with any tire. Just be happy and drive.

Thanks guys for the comments. i really hope it's just my mind playing games! really feels funny having run-flats in the rear and not the front though. but the wheels sure look hot!

It probably is.
I could try and reverse it and say "Well, the brand RunFlats you got are actually made lighter than regular ones". This may have made you think the car had more push.

Nice looking wheels! And if the tires really bug you, return them or exchange for the others.
