Default what do you guys think of the Sport Max 502 wheel?

Should I go with a staggered set of 20" Sport Max 502
in Chromium Black on a White 350Z
http://www.sportmaxwheel.com/sportmax_502.shtml

or a set of 20" TSW Sakata 5
in Hyper Black?
http://tsw.com/profile_sakata_5.php

If you guys think I should get silver in any of em instead, let me know.

Thanks for the feedback

Hate the TSW's. These wheels are too donk for me.

The Sport Max are a little better but still not a fan. I think they would look better in silver than black.

Maybe 19's? Those wheels in 20's would be a little much I think.

If I had to decide between the two, I would take the SportMax wheels. In reality, I would never go with 20s on the Z and definietly neither of these two companies.

I like both sport max (chromium and silver). Wouldn't do 20s though. I'd stay the hell away from TSW. Just plaing ugly.

I appreciate the feedback. I was just looking for a wheel that I could get for around $1000 for the set. If you have any suggestions let me know.
also.....If I get 19" do I have to drop the car?

Yeah you will have to drop your car, unless you want to look like a 4 x 4.

Go to tirerack.com and enter in 350z and check out their wheels.

You could get

ASA JH8s

Moda MD1s

Motegi SP5s

Motegi Togues

Those are all 19's, you're not going to find anything in your price range that look decent in 20".

See all tirerack 350z wheels here.

if your NOT into racing & i see nothing wrong with your choices
i think the TSW will look good ...Im not feelin the 10 lug holes on the sportmax wheels (doesnt have a clean look)

seems like most ppl on this site base there rim choice on weight of the rim becuz of performance purposes (which is understandable if ur into that)
but some ppl bought the Z just for its good looks!!!
also some just pick the same style rim everyone else has ....dare to be different ...so many Z's & G35 have the same rims or the same stye of rim

anyone notice anything about 4 the rims pictured above?
...all similiar & all to common (I do like the ASA JH8 though)

but different can be a beautiful thing

fish-lo if u ike them get them

They were also the cheapest ones on tirerack. So yeah they are pretty common looking.. but they were the most inexpensive. I would have thrown up some bbs/work style ones but they cost way more and he said he wanted to keep it under a grand.

just make sure you check the offsets on the rims before you buy them. Even a good looking rim can look HORRIBLE if it is tucked.

i wasnt directing my comment toward u or anything & I agree with u, for under a grand staggerd choices will be very limited

i was just stating how most of the rims look the same ...even the Volks, Stern, Work, Sevas, are very popular choices & truth be told most of them do look good but also most of them look very similiar 2
...im just tired of seeing the same rims on the same cars i wanna vomit

No track days for me. So I picked up those 20" Sport Max wheels in chromium black a while back. I think they look great on my Z! F20x8.5 R20x10. Much nicer than the TSW. My two cents. Choose what attracts you the most!

Do you have pics of your car with the wheels on them?

Do you like the wheel?
Is the size and offset suitable for your needs?
Is the weight appropriate?
Is the price within your budget?

Its your car not mine. Buy the wheels.
