Default tire pressure

So i just got a new tire pressure sensor in my 350z and i called nissan and it 80 bucks to have the new sensor rediscovered anybody know a way around this

What do you mean rediscoverd?? i work at americas tire and we have this little sensor thing that we take to each tire to reset the air sensor after we put new tires on.. Maybe you could try going to americas tire and just asking them to reset your sensor.. It might be called Discount Tire where you live

yea the only thing we have around is pep boyz and big 10 think they would have it ??

"Rediscover" is another way of say "reprogram". I doubt you'll find anybody outside of a Nissan dealer who can help you. It takes the Consult II plus the activation tool to "re program" the car to recognize the new tire pressure sensor.

$80 is high. That's an hour labor charge for a job that shouldn't take more than 15 minutes.

any good tire shop should be able to do it.. I did it to my Z... And IF they do charge you its shouldnt be anywhere near 80 bucks

Are the Nissan and Infinity tps all the same? Can you mix and match them?
