Default Quick Check: Will this rub?

I want to check really quickly before I make the purchase today. Will 255/45/18 with offset of +35mm on FRONT rub on STOCK suspension?

Thanks!!

The numbers that you are giving me are unusual: tire size and wheel offset. What I need is wheel size.

The wheel size is 18 x 8.5. I am going to run 255 all around and wanted more profile [45] to cover my wheel gap. Its still within 3% of error for the speedo. I am just making sure I won't have any problems with rubbing.

Thanks!

Probably , my 255/40's with +33 are pretty close, and the 255/45 is taller than a normal rear tire.

Its just the rim offset. My only option later is spacers. But I was going to mount them first and decide if I want to spend on spacers. I only have the 17" OEM's right now, so either way its going to look better.

OEM Front wheel
Size: 18x8.0
Offset: +30mm

18 x 8.5. +35

The wheel that you have chosen fits 11 mm closer to the strut housing. I don't like it.

Hmm, I don't have any other choice with the rim. And I'm set on the rim. What do you recommend to do in this situation? Spacer or different tires size?

Is it the tire width that is the problem or the tire height?

The problem is the wheel width and offset.

I am not a fan of spacers. If the wheel is free – take it. If you are buying wheels, then select one that fits better.

Hmm right I understand what your saying. I'm pretty much set on the wheel and was told by (Axis) the manufacture that it would fit IF I don't have brembos. I have a base model so that is not a problem.

Do you have any recommendation on a tire size to go that won't rub?

My choices are basically:

(1) 245/40/18
(2) 245/45/18
(3) 255/40/18
(4) 255/45/18

I prefer higher profile to cover my wheel gap.

Thanks for the recommendations.

#1 , 245/40 since its an 8.5 wheel. If you want , throw a good quality spacer on later to bring it out to your liking.
