Default Nexen 3000 vs Falken 452

I am trying to figure out the diff in these two tires. I would like something that is going to last long and is quiet. I would like it to have good traction but having the best tire out there for traction is not really a concern of mine since I don't do very much aggressive driving.

I'm looking at 245-45-18 for the rear. Prices are:

Nexen 3000 - $119
Falken 452 - $145

I ordered the 452's earlier today. $345 out the door for the 2 rears.

The Nexen's look good but they don't look like they handle water very well. It doesn't rain a lot here but I hate driving in the rain.

I have a full set or 4 Falkens on the way to my house today. Price is unbeatable ant they seem like they have a decent rep on these forums.

The Falkens are the better tire. A buddy bought the Nexens once and wasnt too impressed.

I just got the 452's put on the rear. It was $400 with tax for the two tires and an alignment. Not too bad I don't think.
