Why does my SLIP and Brake light turn on when I drive hard?
Everytime I drive my car hard (with or with out the VDC turned on) and then brake or turn hard my SLIP and Brake light turn on and won't turn off until I turn my car off. All i can think is when I got new rims and tires that they didn't calibrate it right but if you guys could give me a little insight before I take it to the dealership I would really appricaite it!!

that is the cars way of telling you to stop driving like an idiot

fluids just got topped of, as for calibration, I was talking about the sensors inside the tire to let the computer or board know how fast your going and the tire pressure, etc. And they come on sometimes when i'm not driving like and idiot

I have the same problem, but I have stock rims and tires. I turn off the VDC and have a bit of fun and if the car is sliding around too much both lights come on and stay on lol, I figure the car is just mad at me, but its not like I'm abusing it persay, if there's no issue other than overloading the system (shouldn't it be off anyway?) then I'm not worried, but I was also curious as to why this occurs.

Yes when the brake pads are low more fluid is needed to get them to bite. The fluid then drops below the necessary level needed to allow you to use the ABS and EBC funtions. That trips the lights on warning you about the fact that these two safety feature will not operate due to the reason described above....a simple brake pad warning like Audi's would have been better IMO....

You reported the sizes as:
245/??-19" Front
275/??-19" Rear
(where ?? ='s unknown value)
Here is the way you report tire size: [section width (mm)] / [aspect ratio] - [rim diameter (inches)]
What is the aspect ratio on the fronts and rears?

It has nothing to do with tier or fluids it has to do with the car sencing a wheel spin on the back as the front isn't moving such as slides and other conditions it happens when u get your car on a dyno u will get all of these lights on.. as long as u switch it of or you drive it normaly for a while it will go of.
I hope I understood well your question and that was the right answer for it..
