Default Need opinions on Volk GT-7 finish for Daytona Blue Z

I've seen a lot of sweet rides on this board, so I figure this is the place to ask! I'm leaning towards gunmetal. I think darker wheels look sweet on blue Z's, but I want some other opinions. Greets -n- thanks to all from a newbie

I'm in Clearwater, where it's currently hotter than hell! It's good to hear from an almost-local Any roads down that way that would be worth a day trip from here?

Hey, where in Clearwater? I live in Clearwater too, born here. FUN! I love going on the howard Franklin or Bayside Bride, but im extra careful on BSB b/c of those cops waiting on both sides of it and motorcycles too, damn them!

Only thing I have against the Bronze is the Suburau WRX look--especially on the Blue. I don't like those cars and the Bronze just gives it too much in common, IMHO.

I'd go with either the Mercury (super sweet and limited production, supposedly) or the gunmetal. I'm actually going for the Gun Metal myself when I sell my other car and can afford new wheels.

Good luck!

I know the BSB all too well, drive it twice a day on my commute to St. Pete. No fun at all during the morning rush, but I've seen some sick sh*t late at night on that bridge. I was movin' about 90 one night and got smoked like I was standing still by three guys on crotch rockets and every one of them was on one wheel... I couldn't help but be impressed

BTW: I'm just off of Sunset Point Road, how about you?

Oh really? Im not too far, im just north of it on Curlew. Hmm, maybe ive seen you driving around.... what color is your car? Blue? I think I remember you saying that. i've seen two people with blue cars, and one couldnt have been you since it was a female, but i did see a guy with a blue car, had dark hair I believe heading south on US 19 btwn Curlew and Republic Drive, light before the countryside overpass.... we should meet up or something....

BSB is notorious for CR. I see them on there all the time, even ricer cars just speeding down, and im going 90+ miles and some just smoke me. I always slow down when im getting off the bridge b/c those cops love to sit right there just wait for speeders....

Talked to someone who saw the Daytona blue with gunmetal and polished lip..there jaws apparently dropped to the floor..I ordered my GT-7s for the brickyard color anyway you decide to go with this you be a winner these wheels are awsome on the Z..go to the wheels and tires gallery and check them out.

Mercury would look cool; I know the GTC comes in a gold finish. Does the GT7 come in gold as well?
