Question NewB.. Might have been posted already..

So i have decided what wheels im going to be getting. Just have a few questions with some pics to back them up.

5Zigen FN01R-C (Machined Silver)

18x8.5 FRONT
18x9.5 BACK

The main question that I have is the OFFSET... Im not too experienced in this area coming from a world of Honda/Acura. So staggerd (Spelling) arnt my thing.

Anyways..

Ive noticed I can get +12
+22
+35
+30
+38
+45

Now I know that a regular OEM Offset is around +35.. But i KNOW that I want the back wheel looking fkn crazy lol

Im also debating on if i want the back wheel offset the same as the front if not extremly similar...

Im probably going to be running a 40series tire.. I have Tein S-Tech Springs on it.. but im going to be cutting the springs a little just to make it that much lower..

Here are some pictures of what im wanting... & if you know what the offset would be or could help a brother out that would be awesome!

Hopefully thuse pics will help you out a little with what im talking about!

I THINK i want +12 in the back... & +22 in the front... Does that sound right for what im wanting>?

ok now this is what i DONT want... They look TOO flush... too flat faced... or whatever you want to call it

After the springs get cut and wheels go on.. this is my goal as to what it SHOULD look like...

first off dont cut your springs just get some coilovers. as for the car in the picture at the bottom i know him and his car has coilovers. if you want to go lower with out getting coilovers there is a DIY on how to cut your rear bump stop i think. i personaly am running 19's with a 17 offset from and 18 rear but mine are 19x9.5 front and 19x10.5 rear. they dont stick out as much as the cars pirtured on the top of your post but fit really nice. you will have to roll your fenders.

Thanks guys appriciate the post.. One of my buddies actually has a RX-7 with a LS1 swap in it.. anyways he just recently purchased a set of 17x10's all the way around with a 35 offset i think... I know 10's wont fit in the front.. but I honestly think 17's are wayyy too small... 18's would be just right.

Once again thanx for the help. Not all that smart when it comes to math and offsets etc.. lol Just basically know the size and width

& if you can find some pics of Z's with the fn's on it no matter what color.. im more or less just looking at sizes and offsets!

Thanx again!
Steve

18x8.5 fn01rc only comes in offsets of +30/38/43, wall of which will NOT have that concave look, they'll be flat faced. To get that concave face, you have to run 18x9.5+12 all around

9x5's in the front wont have rubbing issues...?

I'd run 9.5 +22 in front and 9.5 +12 in the rear. As long as you don't go wider than a 245 tire in the front you won't have any issue. The front won't be as concave, but the staggered setup will still look good.
