Default Lightest 19" Wheel

Hey guys and gals! Its getting to be tire replacement time for me after only 8500 miles Which means I am going to drop the coin and do the whole deal. Wheels and Tires. I love TE 37s. They are light and the design works with the car. Since many have them however, I would like to be a little different.

My question is this: What are the lightest 19x10 rims out there?
(Besides TE 37s )

I would like price and weights if possible, but I am more interested in ideas so if you dont know the former two then post anyway!

I need help. If I dont get it then youll have yet another member posting a pic of his Z with TE-37s

Thanks All!

OZ Superleggera come in at 20 lbs for 19". But I believe that is for an 8"wide wheel.

Here's an article and some pics (OZ's on 350Z):

Edit: Ahhh here's what I was looking for- a pretty complete list of aftermarket wheels and their weights http://wheelweights.net/

I know I know!, but there is a reason for this.

A. They are attractive in 19"

B. They are extremely light for a 19"

C. All factors considered, they are well priced when you
consider their weight.

Also consider the prices on these lightweight 19s out there.
OZ Superlegera 3 piece at 840 a wheel. Kinesis wheels @ $1000+ a wheel and HREs around the same.

Do you guys know of anything moderately priced that is light and looks good in 19?

I used to be one of tose who bitched about all the"lemmings" going for the TE-37s, but I am beginning to see the light

Any other ideas fellas?

PS thanks for the efforts all!

dont confuse this forum with the world. in the end, volks in general are some of the rarest rims youll find, probably second to HRE. most tuner cars cost 20grand, and those people are not looking to drop 2000$ on a set of rims, Id bet less than 500te37s come into the country each year.

anyway, if your looking for light, might wanna be lookin at 18"s...

but for 19s, find a good brand of forged rim, their all gonna be within 2lbs of each other.

You have made a good point Ares. This will help me make my final decision. I already have the track 18s so I definetely will be moving to 19s. I favor Bling over sing

It looks like you chose go over show. I commend you for that. Your engine must be very happy about the unsprung weight of your rear wheels!

I believe in the Z fitment there are less than 5 sets of TE-37's in 19" which come in each month.. Remember that we are all enthusiasts and my350z.com represents a VERY small portion of the world like Ares said.. Most people who have Z's which i've seen driving around wouldn't know what Volk was if I told them, I would put money on that.

damn those are light, how wide tho? maybe there like 6" wide or something and thats how there doin it...

I saw a rim in a magazine the other day, think it was 17" but it weight 11lbs. thats insane, but it of course, was ugly as hell, a racing wheel I guess, little circles in it. if I chose to one day buy a rim for track only tho, thatd be it no doubt.
