Mine came on last week. Checked the pressure~31PSI. I inflated the tires to 35PSI (max allowed) and the light went away.

As of 2007 it is mandatory that all vehicles come equipped with Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems.

You are partly correct. 07 come with sensors for what good they are?
They took away on 07's monitor that showed PSI in all 4 tires.
Now when one tire goes low or flat it does not tell u which tire.
You have to get a gauge & check all 4 tires yourself to see which one? SUCKS!

Oh boo hoo. That's the best thing to do anyway. The sensors are calibrated for each corner and if you get new rims and the shop doesn't pay attention to which sensor comes off which wheel and mix them up, your readings will be false anyway. I've had customers come in claiming to lose pressure in the right front tire because that's what the gauge says, when it's actually left rear.
