They also made black ones. They're open ended and has no locks. Not very common though but the sides does have the thread type and says WORK on it.

the black ones they offered are not aluminum, nor look anything like the red/blue ones, and I've yet to even see anyone sell them

the blue tends to get green and the red tends to get pink as they are anodized, and won't hold their color even with just soap and water...eventually the color just washes out

Yeah I got a set of the blue one from Rick@Status and I really liked them but they didn't have any locks and my area just had 2 Zs lost their wheels on the SAME night. It scares the crap out of me so I wanted something with locks. Rick ended up giving me the Blue set. I was hoping it wouldn't fade like you said but oh well....crap happens I guess. Do you know if the RAYS one does this too? Maybe I should just stick with my chrome SSR and Gorilla locks I'm sad because I love the look of colored lugs.

the rays ones do exactly the same thing in terms of fading. This is half the reason I took the black rays ones I used to have on my original wheels and tossed em in the trash (the other reason was I got tired of replacing studs, as the on/off action of alumimum threads on a steel stud is a recipe for constant attention)

look into the kics lugs - I think they offer a lock, and they have a steel insert for the threads too (they are just insanely priced for lugs). Or, I think gorilla makes colored ones too, which wont fade at all

are they anodized because they shouldn't fade at all if there anodized.

I'm looking into getting the black Kics for my GTS.

even though those wheels were stolen and hour away from where i live i'm also scared.

Yeah I know what you're saying. Seattle is getting really bad as Z prices are getting lower...more kids getting their hands on them means more reasons for theft. Btw are you going to the meet tomorrow!?

I'd love to buy those KICS ones but they're sooo darn pricy.... I was hoping to find a used set somewhere along the road but I haven't gone through any yet. I think I might try these works ones for a while then change it up when I got enough money for the project kics Thanks for your help.
