I read most of the reviews and everyone hated them. What are they like $250 each?

The Eagle GSD-3's are the ones that have won the awards.

The Eagle F1 Supercar were standard issue on C5 Z06's (and possibly all C5's). They seemed to grip really well in the dry but I've got no idea how they are in the wet.

Nope. Tire Rack has them rated 17th out of 23 tires in the max performance summer tire category.

And the Eagle F1 Supercar EMT (run-flat version) ranked last.

GS D3s are ranked third in Tirerack survey.

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/survey...ay.jsp?type=MP

8th in recent CR survey

https://my350z.com/forum/wheels-and-tires/271133-what-brand-tires-should-i-get.html

Michelin PS2s are first in CR; 2nd in Tirerack.

Probably can't go to far wroung with either.
