Default Small spacers make no visual difference?

A friend of mine with an 04 Z with the stock Touring wheels recently got for free a set of 5/16" spacers. He's wondering if he should even bother installing them. I'm leaning towards no since I doubt they will make a big difference visually but I'm open to second opinions.

The difference is that your spacers are much bigger (.78" and 1" roughly) and his are only about .32" so I doubt that spacers that small will make a noticeable difference.

It will make some difference. Let's say his offsets are 38mm with a 5/16 spacer (8.12mm) they would be under 30mm. I would try them on and see.

It would make a big difference, but anyone who's not Z saavy wouldn't notice. It takes a little more to push the stock rims out.

That spacer width would be nice to finish off some already decently aggressive aftermarket wheels.

You will need longer studs to run those so IMO it's not worth it.

I guess I assumed that longer studs came with the spacers.
