Daily drivers need function too. Having bicycle tires streched over a wide wheel i just cant see that as function. The fashion part, i dont understand either. I dont get ghetto hopping cars either , and people for some odd reason think thats cool.

Sweet Jesus! Is this why my insurance rates keep getting hiked? b/c Z's don't need to be functional on the street?

This setup would oversteer like mad in many street situations...the exact opposite of safe and functional on the street. Unless of course you're a fast and furious mad-tyte drifter that likes to weave through traffic to work every day togue style.

That's funny you mention that, I was just trying to stretch some 700x23c road tires onto my 26x1.5 mtb wheels... just trying to get the widest rim possible under those carbon forks on my fixie.
