I'm sorry but I'd never go smaller than the factory sizes.
Factory sizes are generally the minimum size you want to go with in my book, and sometimes that's not even enough.
Def. put the stocks back on, sell them, and get bigger wheels ASAP.

And the stocks were the same size as the ADR. (17")
