I'm sorry but I'd never go smaller than the factory sizes.

Factory sizes are generally the minimum size you want to go with in my book, and sometimes that's not even enough.

Def. put the stocks back on, sell them, and get bigger wheels ASAP.

No offense but your off-topic now. We are talking about the improvements, there are pictures of the newer rims.

And the stocks were the same size as the ADR. (17")

Need better pictures to determine...there is no contrast below the fenders

At a minimum you need a drop. I would also remove that front license plate bracket.
