My stock RE050s are at 17K and at the rate they are wearing, I will need new rear tires before 20K. Fronts still look like they have a bit left on them though.

Word... My first $700 tire bill for the rears really drove the point home.

Thanks to all for the follow up posts. At this point, Bridgestone has offered a buy one get one free remedy to the situation. I have asked Nissan to come up with the other half and am waiting for a response. I have agreed to pay for mounting and balancing.

Good thread.

Seems the OEM vary quite a bit but I think it just boils down to how each person drives.

I took mine off 21k. I still have 4/32" for the rears, and 6/32" for the fronts. Considering I've had the tires for 2.5 years with 21k miles, that not half bad for summer tires. I did some sprited driving and one autoX. No burn-outs or anything wild and crazy though.

Not to mention there is still thread left before it goes to balding.

Say..anyone interesting in buying used OEM tires...PM me
hahahaha..thread hi-jack! J/k.

I think my OEM could last to 30k without any issues.
