Well he is in Canada, and even though Quebec may want to be their own country they are not! lol

But right off the top I can tell you those tail lights and rear signals probably wouldn't pass inspection. I don't know Quebec laws that well as I am in Ontario.

I know if I tinted out my black car and slammed it on black rims I would probably get harassed just like every other drug dealer driving that same setup around here ... jus sayin

yeah haha I'm from Quebec Canada.
here's a list of what's illegal :
- window tint
- smoked tails
- smoked front reflectors
- stretched tires
- too low ... supposedly my tires rub fenders when turning, they don't, but he insisted!
- catback and test pipes
- owning an awesome car that stupid cops can't purchase with their shitty salary?

Today I'm swapping everything with the legit parts... pass inspection and re-install everything right after!

So fed up with this ****, I'm moving to the US asap lmao

Are any of your rides bouncy at that ride height? I'm assuming since everyone is slammed no one drifts or tracks, and use relatively cheap coils like megan, ebay, f&f, bc. Just wondering how bouncy the ride is....Thanks

Your assumptions are incorrect. When assuming, leave out the words "everyone" and "no one".

I apologize. So are your rides bouncy at that height with whatever coils you guys run?

I run D2 Coilovers and they ride like OEM in my opinion. They're stiffened at half.

MOST people at this ride height can not have bouncy rides because their(our) tires/wheels would continually smash into our fenders.

coilovers are adjustable. That said, the percentage of people that track slammed cars is equivalent to the percentage of people that track cars with built motors, fat tires, and fender gap. Depending on the scene in your area, you can see everything from stock to twin-turbo and built to scrapping on road markers at a track. I know I do. I've only been to the track twice this year (as a spectator), but last year, it was pretty varied. I was MOSTLY at the drift track, but we have autoX in our area as well and those are always fun too. I don't really get into 1/4 mile stuff cuz it's become rather boring to participate in but I do have friends with cars worth watching. I also have friends with cars you wouldn't expect...for instance, my buddy Justin has a low 13sec Civic SI coupe n/a that's slammed. While low 13's isn't anything to write home about, doing it in an all motor dd Civic that has no hints of speed (stock body sans a few Mugen goodies) and sitting low, I think it's impressive to say the least.

MOST mass produced coilover systems run around the 1200-1500 mark. KW and Pedders included. But, I wouldn't expect to see a 3k true coilover setup on a DD that MAY see track time on occassion. What sense would that make? I don't see true coilovers on too many amateur cars for that matter. Maybe things are different in Cali.

...you're welcome

Has anyone in here cut holes for their upper control arms? I know that mine knock quite often, and I plan on more stretch in the future and more low, so I'm curious if you guys got rid of the knocking of the a-arms on the inner fenders or if you just deal with it.

This is pretty common practice with other cars, but I don't think I've seen any 350Zs with holes for the upper control arms. I'd try and reinforce or box the area that you cut, if you do do this, just to keep it structurally sound and keep some debris out of your bay.

it's been done....also be mindful of the pinch weld of the frame that run along the tire. it's pretty sharp and for the lowered needs to be either cut or hammered to the side..

it's back too far for me to snag the pic, hit up Royal-T
