Hello, I don't really like to post my personal problems online, but I really need help.
This problem I have is regarding tire size. I currently have a 18x11.5 -16 wheel stretched on a 245/40/18 federal 595. I have the wheel where I want it but it's rubbing it crazy, I need a tiny bit more clearance. I have pulled my fenders (more than I wanted to...and its starting to get wavy) and ran stupid amounts of camber (which I don't want to, but have no choice) and now i'm looking to go to a smaller tire.
So my question is, would a 235/40 give me more clearance or would a 245/35 give me more clearance? I have a general understanding of tire sizes, but am not 100% sure which one will give me the results I want. Thanks in advance. If anyone has any type of input I would really appreciate it! (Whether its regarding how to pull a fender more or etc...)
Here are some photos:

Take the wheel off and do some measurements. From looking at the pics you will either have to run more negative camber, possibly pull you fenders some more.

Here are some more photos after I raised the rear to get out of the drive way. I am also still waiting for my backordered SPL front a arms... I little bummed that I can't get these rears to fit. I eventually want to do rear fender work but it's not in my budget right now...

Try pulling the rears more before you go switching up tire sizes without knowing your wheel size. Just remember that easy does it, plenty of heat and patience yields the best results.

There is just no way in hell your offset is right. But they look great. I'm running 18x12 -12 with a 255/40 with 0 camber (I even have room for a larger spacer since I raised the car a tad) . What I would do is heat up your fender real nice, jack the car up and put a phone book or a thinner phone book type book in the fender and let the jack down slowly. That's what I did, you won't get waves and the fender will just form to the tire. You could also roll it slowly if ya want either way works.
