sorry most people cant afford to cut up there car to fit big *** tires and still get poke. people run stretch to fit bigger rims, if you can fit 14's on the car why bother stretching a tire anymore.

Anyone on here remove the front fender inner lining? I am currently running in th Z tanabe srpings gf210s i believe and the wheels are 20x9 245-35-20 and 20x10 275-30-20 with a 25mm offset all around but i am runnin a 25mm spacers all around. The only wheel i am having an issue with is the front left one that is rubbing against the inner lining.

I want to either:
A. Run some more camber
B. Remove lining for the time being

Yes i know tire sizes that were smaller in width would be best but for now i am running these.

Thank you

people stretch because there's nothing more gangster when you're driving behind a dude, and you see his lips sticking out not only past the fender, but past the tire as well.

that's why most people stretch, but yes, some do it to fit bigger rims.

this is what you wanna see sticking out

what you really should do is get a stiffer suspension up front instead of screwing up your car more by increasing camber wear and removing parts.

by the way, you can try removing one of those screws that holds the inner fender lining in place at the very top, my front wheels used to rub that like crazy made my tires look like shredded mozzarella until I unscrewed it and took it out.

stiffer suspension would not help me at this point because it is a constant rub. Like i cannot move the car because it is rubbing against the lining and partially the fender. Its not like i am driving then it rubs but rubs at the moment i start to back out the car.

Here is my car, I am running axis 20's, 9J 15mm offset fronts, 10.5J 20mm offset rears.

I want to stretch the tires on them to get that sweet VIP look. I have previously went as low as 265 in the rear 245 in the front and it just didnt seem stretched enough. I also am not getting the VIP look that I want. I do realize that I still need to roll the fenders, I am sending it in to get some things touched up on the paint very soon, I will be roll fenders then. I am also thinking of putting spacers on but I don't have any clue what size to try. I realize that will depend alot on the size of the stretch. I am not really knowledgeable on the rim/suspension setup knowledge. I am running eibach prokit springs with a 1" drop. I want to go lower but my driveway wont allow it.

I just know that I want that wide stance where the rim looks like the post below mine. But with my HP I am concerned about traction. I dont get on it alot but every now and then I like too. 225's to 409hp ahhhh..........yeah traction = 0

I am also thinking of getting new rims soon, I love dish and I want to upgrade to a better rim. Axis started me off, I want to do it right now. Any suggestions? I am looking something along the lines of what I have now. I show my car so I am not looking for anything that would be a pain in the **** to clean. Should I stay dark, go lighter, i.e. polished or go gold?

These have sparked my interest, I am still browsing. I dont want to be like everyone else is the most important, but I want my car to just look awesome when you look at it.

I really like these, but I dont know the name of them. The sort of look like the GTC but you can tell there 1 piece. They look HAWT!

oh dont get me wrong, i ****ing love that ****, but from a technical standpoint people did it at first to fit bigger wheels, but now a days people do it for looks and gangsterish skills.

Which is exactly what I am going for. I lived in japan for a little bit, most of the drifters I saw had their tire set up like this. It looked so sexy. I want my car to look like that.

Takes some pretty damn good skills my friend

Don't have that much trouble with the front bumper as I do with my Y-pipe and control arms

yup yup.. you're right, back in the day they did it to fit bigger wheels while nowadays it's for looks.

My opinion on the whole thing is, it's only to achieve that gangster look and stance, there's is nothing technical or performance approved about stretching tires and going all out with crazy camber.

I mean.... even the people that did it to fit bigger wheels make no sense with it, because why do people get wider wheels in the first place ?? so they can have a bigger contact patch and be able to put more power to the ground and handle better....
so it makes absolutely no sense to get a wider wheel and then have it fitted with a skinnier tire while going over the top with camber settings... None of that serves a performance purpose.
