you know, i actually did that with my eclipse, emergency fix, had no choice, worked out great. A little clear pealing but nothing that wasn't hidden. I have a feeling that the Z wont fair so well. The panels are much thinner, and the paint is custom, not willing to take the risk.

I wrapped a bar with a towel once and used the wheel as leverage. The panel could support my weight at 180lb.

Did you get the clear flaking off. I think I did because I didn't use a towel. I used a wooden bat which helped but I think a towel would have been a better option.

Really! Wow, I would of never guessed, so how flat did you end up getting it. On my eclipse it wasn't flat, but I rolled it enough to no longer rub. I really like how barefoot got it so flush, looks really clean.

Despite having something like a dozen softball/baseball bats around I wasn't comfortable with lowering the car onto a baseball bat. I went with a straight jack hammer bit instead. It's basically a long metal stake wrapped in a towel because it's narrower.
Jacked the car up a couple inches so the stake can clear and used my body weight as leverage. It was a p.i.t.a. man... who'd thought the rear fender was so tough. I would recommend using a heat gun to warm up the paint. The towels help, but I didn't care since my clear coat was already screwed from all the rubbing before.

well you give me the confidence to do it myself. I am getting my car repainted here in a month and I would rather save the cash of rolling the fenders and do it myself. Hey any way to save a buck. The paint will be squared away afterward, I was more worried about the fenders getting all jacked up. Paint is an issue until it goes in for spray but not a huge issue.
I think I know what I will be doing this weekend. Thanks bro.

I have 11's on there right now. I don't know the offsets as of yet, I asked the guy I got the rims from and he is out of town. I have a 5mm spacer on there as well. I am not dropped yet so I dont have the look I want. I am poking a tad. When I get the drop, if I need to get bigger spacer I will at that time. I don't want to waste the money on something I might not need.
The tires I have on there are not what I want either but there fairly new so when I need to change them or get the drop which ever comes first i will finally achieve what I am looking for. Here is what it looks like right now. Not a very good view, I will take more tomorrow night.

if you're not dropped by the time i get some coilovers ill sell ya my gf210's if ya want. Not sure when that will be but just in case. Also probably next week ill be doing the springmount mod on the car so the gf's will be off teh car. it takes 10mins to install the rear springs simple. So if you want to try them out just to see how the stance looks for you thats cool too.
