lol...soooo many new people trying to find the "aggressive" setup without doing any of the work thats involved ... its a lil harder than just buying wheels and slamming it...do some research people.
Lito: your gonna be running 40 series on that setup? are you gonna be actively drifting? cause id be kinda worried with a 40 series/19 inch setup with how clearance/low your car is...
I will be actively drifting every month when the drift day comes around till winter/snow comes i hope. right now im running 225/35 in the front and 245/35 in the rear which i am also debating in looking for a set of 245/35 and 265/35 but i can only find 265/30 on the rear right now. So we'll see how that goes...the Weds are in a surprise customization right now and the z is getting the widen fenders done as well so i will be ordering the tires once the wheels are done and tested when the fenders are completed.
Wow chris, awesome shots and awesome car!!!!!!!!! It was nice meeting you at the meet, what happened to the motormavens feature on the vdub?
Thanks John!
Ummm well the guy I ran into from MM wanted like all my pics of the vdubs AND that mercedes but I had already watermarked them for SN coverage. Per my agreement with Elvis w/SN I said I wouldn't re-use the same images elsewhere. That only left me with like 2-3 pics of each vw wagon and I guess that wasn't enough pics for the MM article. So whatevers. It's all good.
Those 2 vdub wagons didn't really have any mods besides wheels and a drop. Maybe if they had more mods I could have got a lot more images to make for a more interesting feature.
