i'm planning on getting 18x11.5 -3 rears, but i'm having trouble deciding between 245/40 and 255/35 (maybe 265/35????). which one will give me the most clearance, yet isn't toooooo aggressive that my wheels could possibly get damaged. my z is my daily driver, so potholes and construction zones are a constant threat to my wheels.

I have a question for those with Stance GR+ Pro coils...

I sold my Buddy Club Racing Spec coils...new Stance coils came in on Friday. When I opened the boxes, the helper springs were not already installed on the coils. Not sure if this is out of the ordinary or not...Also saw that some people complained about not being able to go "low enough" with the helper springs on. I haven't put the helper springs on yet...gonna wait until my Work's get here. Just want to get some feedback from people that have the GR+ Pro.

i had some on my s13. mine came with the helper springs on, but my buddy who got some also didn't have them on. stance probably figures it's simple enough to put the helper springs on that when they're out of the pro's they can just throw the helper springs in with some normal gr+'s. "low enough" depends on what you're going for. you might as well keep them on there and if you don't like it, take them off.

I have GR+ Pro's and my helper springs came installed on my front coilovers. I have OEM style setup in the rear, though.

I can see the helper springs getting in the way if you want to go herra dumped.

camber doesn't actually cause the tire to wear at an accelerated rate. it just causes uneven wear from the inner and outer sides of the tire (because with negative camber the inner edge of the tire is in contact with the ground more than the outer edge). when the inner side gets worn, just switch the tire to the other side of the car and you're good. toe is what causes accelerated wear. it also depends on what tread ware the tires are. i think i'd get about 30,000-40,000 miles out of my current tires if i was planning on having them for that long...
