I first went big and tried a 245/40/18 with no luck. I also had a set of 265/35/18 laying around and decided to try them. Again no luck multiple tries using every method in the book! Either bombs/cheeter tank/bike tubes/straps/etc... Im all out of ideas. Also When I do the either or cheeter it seems to work then all the sudden the tires bead just pops off the wheel. The front tires went on no problem 18x10 +12 235/40/18. Its been really depressing and I almost actually sold them because of this.
So if any of you guys have any other tips or tricks I havent mentioned please let me know! I would truely appreciate it.

i'm not trying to be a know it all but i do have experience on stretching tires at my previous work place. i've done plenty of all sizes. your problem is that after you shoot the cheetah, you need something in the valve to keep pressing air in. in your video, it's not just going ot seat it self by shooting air in it. you need an air shooting in your valve stem at a constant then shoot the cheetah.

It would be a lot easier if you had a tire machine where you can lift the tire up a bit before shooting the cheetah. Hope this helps a bit.

Thanks for your input I am going to try it on a machine like you suggested. As for the air line it didnt help. I have tried it with the valves in and out with no difference. Same results as in the video. It always seems like its gonna work but just suddenly pops off. Its driving me nuts!

you made sure there was no valve stem core in the valve stem correct? this is very important.

rps13! Definitely look into what Superblack is telling you. Also make sure you have tires that can stretch easy. 265/35 is what i was on my last tires on my 18x12-5 so you should be good.

[QUOTE=Max-G;9098137]i wish someone would build a z like this. tucking looks sooooo much better than attempting to fit stupidly low offset wheels that end up poking like a lowrider.

Why dont you show us the way Max-G? I bet it would look really good since they will not be poking like a lowrider...

What superblack is saying is correct, one more trick that worked for me was airing up the tire (didnt require the cheetah) with the valve stem covered by the inside of the actual tire, just make sure holds the tire in the center of the barrel as its aired up. I ran 265/35 nexxens on my 18x12 -20 and it worked no problem.

i kinda already did? although that was only when it was under load, not when it's hardparked. 8 months and i'll show the world how a parked z tucks rim without bags

To rps13, i know everyone has already told you what to do, but when i did 265s on a 12 i did it on the tire machine. First i did the starting fluid trick and that helped alot with softening the sidewall(caught on fire a little then popped up) Next right after the flame goes out you put constant air like superblack said and cheetah. It should go, its worked with every set that i have stretched.

Rps13drift.... what you wana do is get the wheel on a tire changer. Get it clamped... use the cheetah and get it from under and already have an air line hooked up to the valve stem without a valve core and soon as that bead is sat get the air going through valve stem...then obviously put the valve core in.... if this still fails double cheetah it.
