Question about same size tires on different width rims.

Question about same size tires on different width rims.
I recently ordered myself some Blizzaks WS-50 at 225/50/17 all around for my stock 17 inch rims I got laying around. Tire Rack emailed me saying they won't fit the rears, but I assumed they could. Can the 225/50 fit all around on the stock 17 inch rims? (I forgot the width of the fronts and rears).

350Z Tire Sizing
Standard 17":
F-225/50WR17
R-235/50WR17
The Tire Rack will try to sell you the OEM size to avoid returns. Of course a 225 mm tire will work on a 7.5 inch wheel.

My mistake.
EDIT. As a general rule, OEM width plus or minus 10 mm is very conservative.

^^ The rear is 17x8", but that is no problem when mounting 225's.
Your stock rims are:
17x7.5” Front
17x8.0” Rear
225/50-17” fit perfectly on these rims (either width… 7.5” or 8” width)
You’re “good to go.” This is a good winter tire setup since you can rotate those studless winter tires that wear quickly when run on a dry surface.
And… If your car has TCS or VDC, you won’t experience any problem running all square 225/50-17” snows.
