Default The damn Buttcrack light is bugging aka TMPS light

Hey i have an 07 z and about a week ago tmps light came on. Didnt think much of it since it was kinda cold. more than usual. i figured it would go away when it warmed up. but its still there. can anyone tell me what psi the tires should be at??. and dont say look at the manual. Cuz for some reason i lost the manaul in my recent move. think i might of left it in Cali. Thanks. current Psi is 30

Check the tires... they always have the recommended psi printed on the sidewalls in small print. If it's the stock craptenzas, the answer is 35-40 psi (though you can get away with 33 or 34).

I wouldn't put what the tire says to put. It usually give the max. My tire says 50psi but I'm definately not gonna run 50.

I've had a sensor 'unprogram' itself. Had to take it in to the dealership. They reprogrammed and it worked fine... Then two weeks later I had a different sensor go out on me

Your tire is listing the maximum operating psi.

You should have 35 psi in all tires. Some go over that for fuel economy or whatever. I personally keep them as close to 35 as possible.

However since my wheels don't have tpms sensors i get the light anyway.

I've got Falken Ziex-912's that say 50 PSI Max. There are a few different ones that have that printed on them.

Same exact thing here. I wanna know if there is anyway u can get rid of the sensors completely and avoid all the drama without havin that damn light on.

The manual says that the TPMS light will trun off once the tires all have 32psi or more. 35 psi in all tires and light still on is a problem.

for what its worth I had that light go on one night. I put air in the next morning and the light was still there all day. I was ready to take it in, but it went away after a day or two.
