Default VOLK GT-7 picture thread

Hi guys,
I will order my new wheels next week!
I think I am now fixend on 20" VOLK GT-7's, gunmetal (my car is gun grey)
I know there is already a Volk thread but there are so many pages that its hard to find any GT-7 pics.

GT-7 owners convince me that I have made the right choice - post some pictures!!!

Seller proposed this sizes:
9.5x20 +22
10.5x20 +24

What do you think?

PS: No discussion about the size please - as ive often seen it here - I already have 20" on my Z and have new Michelin tires so I want to keep the same size

click Search then type in GT-7. sounds like you've made a decision, you dont need people to convince you. GT-7 is a great looking wheels.

Search does not help much when you type "GT-7".
No havent made my final decision, since there is a lot of money to be put on the table.

These are the designs that are in my final selection, always gunmetal with polished lip.
The advantage of the set of Volks is that they are a 1000$ cheaper thant the two last designs (these are custom made 3piece forged - pics are just same design)

Thats a pic of my Z:

This would have been a really long thread about 2 years ago.

Why? No one has GT-7s anymore today, or what?

Not a huge fan of the GT7, but almost anything is better than what you have. I fell in love with the GT7 in my days of owning a mazda3 when a guy with a blue 3 hatch had gold GT7 and it looked incredible. They almost look "cheapish" on a z to me for some reason

Im sure plenty of people still have them, its just an older style. A couple years ago they were as popular as Work Meisters are today.

Still a nice looking wheel, especially in 20!

Did you start by looking through the Index at Volk threads?

Ok, I understand - in Switzerland its another thing, nearly nobody has Volks and for Japcar owners VOLK is the wheel. They did just start importing the "big style" last year, before there where just some small companies that imported a few wheels per year.

@Dave: Yes I ve looked them trough, but since there are Threads for other Volk wheels I tought it wouldnt be wrong to have one with Gt-7.

@DJK: Work Meister are far older than the GT-7 as far as I know? I would love to buy a set, but the set of 20" is nearly $2k more than the Volks.
I prefer to keep that money for the supercharger next year.

@Gambino: I personally dont like the wheels on my Z - they look a bit "SUV", I bought the Z just some weeks ago (with about 6k miles) and they are the first thing I will change now. Hope I'll find a buyer for them over here. lol.

Hm, ok thanks for the pic! Think the GT-7 has to be big to look good, because of its design (especially the ring inside), so the 20" should look a bit better.

Someone with 20"s? The pic i posted should be 20s?
