Default Tire Kingdon (What A Joke)

I know most of you know but I have to share what a joke TK is. Last week was getting new tires put on. I get a call from them to tell me I need new front brakes and new rotors. I'm think ok. How much are we looking at? He then proceeds to tell me nothing is cheap for a 350z and for both front pads and rotors I'm looking at $875. He tells me each rotor is over $300. Needless to say I only let them do my oil and tires there and thats why. By the way got the work done for $299 with all Nissan parts. So I called them and let them know I didnt appreciate them trying to screw me and that my 3 cars will never be brought there again.

Wow, that's like Liberty Nissan in Hanover telling me I need a new YAW Sensor for $900 when my brake light fuse was shorted out. I have no doubt it was because I was 18, yet I ended up solving the problem myself. Needles to say I've never stepped foot in that place again.

I never called them like you did though, they might have tried to mend things.

As a former NTB tech, National tire and battery, a tire kingdom company, i can with great confidence say that it is absolutely the worst possible place that you could ever take your car to have any work at all done on it. your best bet as a matter of fact to get any honest work done is to find a garage that is owned by an individual or do the work yourself, it isnt a myth that mechanics are out to get your money, it is fact, they even taught me to do it in school

haha yeah my friend went to a tire kingdom down here on the advice of his roomate to have some tires mounted on his wrx. He gets there and looks in the back and see this black rx-7. He goes in for a closer and look and it turns out that it is HIS rx-7. Was stolen that morning from his apartment complex (he didn't even know until he saw it there) and two kids that work for tire kingdom were in the process of breaking into it. Needless to say his roomate shows up with a crow bar blocking the car in the kids are still trying to break into and the cops come. Starting some investigation to see who all knew about this and what was going on. Seems it was towed there too b/c the rx-7 had a blown engine and was not driveable.
