Default gram lights 57maximum

I'm thinking about going with 18x8.5 wheels and 255/40/18 re050a pole positions all around.....

the offset is 30mm and I'm wondering if that's going to cause any problems in the front... it's going to stick in 18mm(.7") more than the stock wheels...

any other comments/suggestions welcome...(I'm going for a cheap-ish, light-ish, dark colored rim, non staggered, and wider than stock)

well Gramlight 57 Max in 18x8.5 lowest offset offer is +33.. but I would recommand 18x9.5 +22 if you are planning on running all around size tires...

here's the size chart..

doh.... got my numbers mixed up when typing... i did mean +33... (stock is +30)....

are you saying run the 18x9.5 because the offset will be better all around(stick out more than stick in)? My next question would be.... will it stick out too far? That's about an inch out in the front.

My only drawback to 9.5s is the weight.... was hoping to go a little lighter than my stock 17's.... but i guess it's not so bad...

If you like the Gram Light selection and are concerned with weight look at the 57F.

18x8.5 +33 will fit, but is ultra ultra conservative - it won't look "special" at all. The 18x9.5 +22 will look significantly better

the 57F were discontinued - might be some floating around but they are no longer made

Whatever you decide don't be a fool to buy them from TireRack. I can assure you that you can get a way better price from any of our vendors in the forum.

Thanks for the update. The 57F was the only forged Gram Light wheel that I was aware of.

That's ironic you mention that, just today, I saw 5 Civics with 8.5's all around and 255 tires.....all with LS7 swaps. Super common round here.....get 12's all around with 345's if you ask me....why stop at 10.5's? Wida FTW!

I have Gram Light 57c in 18x9.5 +22 all around, with 245/40 and 255/40 Falken RT-615's. The wheels weight 22 lbs each. That's 1-2 lbs lighter than the stock 17's! You really do need wider wheels to match the wider tires. BTW- offset is everything.
