Default [Urgent] Wheels cracked, gonna get 18" Weds SA-70 *PIC*

i went to clear bra my Z last week. and the clear bra guy found that one of my wheels was cracked. WTF...why happening to me

So i decided to get a new set of wheels, Weds SA-70.
But most venders dont carry light grey color (i want this color to match my black Z) , they only have bronze one.

the only way i found is tire rack. They don't have 18x10 in stock right now.

That's mean i have to get:

Front:
18x8
30mm

Rear:
18x8
30mm

i prefer 245front/275rear

is this a good match for tires/wheel size? do i need any spacer? please let me know if i messed up.

I would check the "market place"... There are some pretty good deals going on right now...

Diamond Black, Gloss Black or Matte Black... If you really want it to match...

Also, Tirerack sells you very, very conservative offsets - something you might not be very happy with... Just thought you might want to know...

The wheels are going to look pretty tucked and non-aggressive with those widths and offsets. I would say search around more and find something designed more for the Z. Check out some of the wheels available on this site, either used or from a vendor. You can do MUCH better than the Weds, thats for sure.

Get wheels that belong on a Z. Those sizes and offsets you listed are way beyond wack. I would suggest going back to stock wheels, if you go with those weds.

BTW, ricey would be those ridiculously sized Weds.

Did you call Axis to report the crack? They had cracking problems in the past. This is a danger to public safety and they need to know about it. Axis replaced the wheels for free.

Maybe it's just me but i haven't seen you around in a while JET....welcome back.

Anyways Axis had that issue didn't know it still existed. You need to talk to them about it and then get different wheels because that stuff is not safe.

Any wheels can be damaged. Still I find it difficult to believe that Axis is JWL certified.

call Axis, they should take care of you. Several members had issues and Axis was very helpful.

They are some really good looking wheels for the money.

Axis will replace cracked wheels for free. They had a "bad batch" the owner himself came on this form and stated he would replace any cracked wheels.

Do a search you can find the thread, if not just call Axis.

When I read your thread title "wheel crack" w/o reading the content, I immediately knew 90% it was gonna be Axis Hiro.
These wheels are notorious for crack. Do a search.
Contact Axis, maybe they replace it for you for free.
