Don't know the weight, but I am putting them on my car tuesday. Got a great deal 1,300 with trade in, that is for wheels and tires I am trading in the 18 inch touring wheels.

The Privats look like **** because the rear wheel bars stick out too far to give it a deep look. To get the look most people like when buying wide wheels for the rear you want the wheel face to be more recessed.

Not a bad wheel when viewed facing it, but with the car at a 3/4 angle or anything not straight on, they look like crap.

I think its stupid when a one piece wheel tries to copy the 2 piece look with phony fasteners. it looks rice.

Well, I guess everybody's entitled to their own opinion guys. Some people don't want to or can't spend 2 to 4 times as much on wheels. There aren't that many choices that are reasonably lightweight and look ok for that kind of money. I'm not a fan of "rice", which is why the first thing I'm looking at on any wheel I consider is the weight.

BTW, not everybody has to have the widest lips possible. Here's a newsflash: some people don't even care for that look...it looks kind of "ricey" because thats the look all the "ricers" are going for now.

Default saving money = good

i just think it is kind of crazy to spend $5k on wheels and tires, on a car that only cost me $30k. if i had a 911 turbo or something, spending $5k might make more sense. although, the more i shop for wheels, the more i like HRE's -- so you might be calling me a hypocrit if i throw up a pic of my 350 with some HRE's on it! lol

My thoughts exactly. It does not make sense to buy wheels that cost 1/6th the value of the car!

However, I do not agree with putting cheap low quality wheels on the Z. it is too classy a car for that. So please no fake 2 piece wheels or no heavy 35 pound cast wheels.

Cheers to those that find moderately priced wheels that are high quality. ADR rings a bell!

Myself I might be going for Volks. They are simply the best lightest wheels for the money. As soon as I find someone to sell me some 19s (rears with fat lips) for close to 2 grand I am there.

I can justify spending that on my Z.

Peace!
