For Those With Polished Wheels
I have a set of 20" polished I-Forged Aero's. I Love the wheels but everytime I wash the car, I have to polish the wheels. I have polished the wheels 7 times w/ only 1200 miles on them. Does anyone have the same problem? I use Mother's Aluminum Polish & Wheel Wax. NOTHING LASTS!!! They look great until it rains. Then I have brake dust stains and water spots. PLEASE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE.
If your wheelwax is like the kind I use, it's more of a cleaner -- try this: after they are good and clean, put on 2-3 coats of Zaino, Zymol, whatever .... same thing as on the body .... it's not perfect but makes the clean up much easier. I rewax every two or three months.
Zaino is what I plan to use also. The rims I ordered are not completely polished but the lip is and I'm hoping Zaino will keep them nice and bright.
Matt, by the way, it'd be great if you could come to our Connecticut meet on July 12th. I'd love to see your wheels in person and I hope to have mine as well (hopefully I'll be able to find tires in time). Right now we ar are over 60 350Z's/G35's coming. Hope you can make it. There is a caravan coming from NY. If interested, let me know and I will get you details.

.get mothers or eagle one polishing wad, take a VERY small piece off and wipe a bunch of times around the wheel, then buff off, Waaaaaaaaay less time that polshing pastes
When my, iForgeds get back, before Im gonna munt them, Im gonna tkae alot of time to seal the whole wheel with multiple coats of polymer sealant.
Regular carnauba wax melts right off the hot wheels....get a sealant like Blackfire, Liquid Shine, Zaino, Klasse, Mothers Reflections.
