The wheel in that pic (or any other wheel for that matter) isn't designed for side impact. I really doubt even Rays will test their wheels like that.
That said, I will probably never buy Rotas or recommend them, but it's their car, not mine.

OK, Juztin, just to re-cap your point of view:
Volks: teh mad JDM tyte yo bling bling holla back...
Rotas: the fake POS/disintegrates at slight tough/ricer wheel/whatever...
Now, dear sir, if you would please share some of your racing/auto competition background that gave your claims any validity.
FYI, I actually run a set of forged 2 piece Racingharts on my Z and with I went with the Rota copy of the TE37 back in the day...
