I think you should consider the overall rotational diameter first before going with 20s. Your new set of wheels/tires should stay somewhat close to stock to keep your speedo reading accurate.

I wouldn't go with 20s if I were you. It won't fill up the wheel well/gap at all. It will actually make your car look much lifted.

Default Yikes...

that is rough...and probably the reason why I can't bring myself to sell any of my stock stuff each time I add a mod. Good luck.

I will post pictures as soon as the wheels are off of the car.

I decided to go with the 20" TSW thruxton 20x8.5 +20 in the front, and 20x10 +35 in the rear (Probably going to need a 10-15mm spacer to bring th erear out depending on where it falls in the wheel well). I know its not my Volk GT-7's but for one im sick of paying out the @ss for 19" tires, and they are never readily available like 18's and 20's. So someone on here will get a nice deal because I will sell the Volk's as soon as they come off.

To the one saying it will lift the car if I go with 20's it will mess up my speedo. It will only mess up the speedo if you go with the wrong size tire. If you put a stock 17 inch wheel next to my 19" volks at the moment. They are the same size. And as for it being lifted, I have seen plenty of Z's with 20's that are tastefully done (Not all chrome spinners and such) Ive seen Volks, Axis Shines, and so forth and they look just fine.

Because if I HAD the money for Volks, that means it is past tense. Meaning I dont have the money again for wheels. So I can look all day at work wheels and nismo but my wallet is still going to say no right?

Thats what Im thinking too... A new setup will cost more than one new wheel...

Volks can take a serious beating... We have a guy at out local GTG with a bent barrel... Its noticably bent but not cracked...

Yes I did do math in school thank you.

Reason I can do a new set of TSW's is because I have a discount tire credit card and can get 12 months no interest on these wheels. So its not going to hit my wallet so fuggin hard.

Sorry, didn't mean to be a b1tch about the above comment.

So you want to put them on credit. I don't know, i think it may be a bad idea, but that's your prorogative. If your tires aren't deflating extremely quick, just keep the cracked rim and take it easy for a bit until you can replace that rim, or at least ask mackin about replacing the drum. I'm sure it wont be much more than a few hundred. No harm in asking.

No offense taken

Well the way I see it. Is if I can sell my Volks for a decent amount, I can pay off the credit card in a matter of weeks. Plus even though I love my volks, like I said, I just cant afford to be burning 900 worth of tires every year on these 19's. The 20" tires are going to be running me $600 or so, and thats a little easier to bear. But my misfortunes willbe someone elses gain, because they can have a nice set of volks after having the one repaired
