You 21 year olds think you have it bad now with budgeting, wait until your 29, have a mortgage, 2 car payments, and a wife that thinks money magically appears in your bank account.

We still did not get an answer as to what you did to bend and crack this wheel? I have seen Z's in car accidents w/ bent volk wheels that look worse and yet still no crack. I personally have bent volk wheels worse than that and still didn't crack. What size tires were you using?

Compared to some other wheel brands that I have seen that have cracked, this is still no comparison. The barrel is barely cracked, even with a considerable bend too. To me that is still a testament to the strength and quality of Volk Wheels.

I honestly don't know what I did. I'm thinking a pothole or something but It was cracked for at least 2 or so weeks before I found out.

Food for thought... Not trying to bring you down or anything but... Its a bad idea to finance mods man... Yeah its appealing since payments are spread out... I learned my lesson though - I got t-boned in my last car and she got totaled... 6 months after I was still paying for the damn mods... Never again... Save up you will be happier in the long run...

Then again... Its your money so I shouldnt be telling you how to spend it...

that being the case, y not use the same mentality with a ___insert company here___ Zero interest credit card and buy 1 volk and 1 tire? i hardly think 1 wheel and 1 tire will be greater than 4 dubs with rubber.

Because I have had the discount tire credit card for 2 years. I only have 1 other credit card and that is my USAA Platinum Mastercard, and don't want to open another. I dont really like using credit, I like to pay for things cash and know they are mine.

Well considering the nature of my whole thread, having the all-mighty Volks really didnt help me much did it

damn. blurry picts ftl. stop drinkin' so much coffee.

i dunno man-- to have the edges of a crack in a material like aluminum, to budge like that and be so concentrated... seems like it would have to be one helluva edge you had to slam into..

best of luck on your new wheel purchase.
