I do like to P45s, they're all 18x9.5 right... Thinking about the rotation factor...

Any answers on the tps exchange?

you could also use the 265/35 for the rear, get a new pair for the fronts (235/40 or 245/35or40), and then sell the 295/35. But otherwise, I agree that you should get out a set of Rota's if you are looking for wheels that cost less than 1k.

This gives me an idea, why couldn't I just try to exchange the 295 for some 255 (smallest in a 35 series). Which brings up the question, how are 255/35 going to far on the front...

there was a vendor on here selling AME wheels dirt cheap, but the thread has been removed. I would say try to track down a set of those in an 18x9F 18x10R (or 10.5" rear depending which wheels you choose)

Where did you get the idea to put a 295 mm tire on a 8.5 inch wheel? Did one of our genius members recommend it?

No, I knew I wanted to get 245/35/18 and 265/35/18 and for the life of me I don't know why I ordered different. Not that its an excuse but I have been on meds this last 5 days.

Anyways, I am going to try to exchange the 295s for 255s if the cost comes with lube... If not then it looks like I am buying wheels sooner than I wanted... And nothing really stands out for my taste right now...

Enkei NTO3s come in some nice size that fit the Z and those tires. Ther are pretty good priced.

My question is should I even try to run these on my stock wheels?
You think the 265/35/18 up front would be ok to run?
I could buy some rims to accommodate the size but but I hate to do the after market wheels because of the tps and I haven't even looked into wheels/prices.

Anyways, give me some options

FWIW, those tires will fit onto OE rims.

*autoX guys fit 285/30/18 wide Kumho V710 (very stiff sidewalls) onto 18X8 rims...it's very hard to do so, and I've only seen it once.

265 onto a 8" rim - YES
285 onto a 8.5" rim - YES

and w/ the OE offsets, the tires will be fairly close to flush.

Thanks for the encouragement but I will def get closer to spec either with the 255s or new wheels. I'm sure it's possible to fit but as a dd I don't think it is safe.

IMO autoX puts some of the most stress onto tires - hard cornering, high grip, lots of heat...I think it's safe enough that I'd run them on my own car .

*but I understand that it's just another thing to have to think about, and could also take some time to find someone willing to mount those for you.

I have made similar mistakes. No big deal. Hope you get the correct tires or new wheels.

If the exchange cost too much I am leaning towards them but I need to try the exchange first.
