How do you guys feel about these wheels? I haven't heard much on them...particularly quality?

Tenzo R wheels tend to crack per some tuner shop owners that I've spoken to.

Being a volk owner, how do you think I feel about them?

Rota are far better wheels, if you are on a budget.

I say it depends on what you plan on using them for. If its just normal day to day driving I think they would work just fine, but for racing I couldnt say. But then again you allways see something like "well I HEARD that they crack" or something like that havent really seen any first hand experience. The big thing to consider is do you like them. If so I say buy them. They make some nice looking wheels.IMO. Its your money get what you will be happy with, not everyone else. After all your the one that has to look at them every day. Sorry for rambling on.

i agree with icustomize.
if your just driving with them, they shouldnt crack.
if your some ruthless kid who ramps off railroad tracks with your Z or drifts in your Z and hits all kinds of curbs.. idk.

Hmm...Volk owners are always going to be biased....but I can't afford to spend a small fortune on a set of wheels. What about TSW...they are around the same price range?

You're going to have a hard time getting any real advice about these wheels - most guys here are too proud to rock them, but will claim how they crack/break/suck or whatever else.

You could also look around for a used set of Works or Rotas. They usually come pretty cheap.

Good luck - don't get too blinded by the rice/junk/knockoff hate. You'll end up with another Z that looks like everyone elses.

IMO, I think they are an ok budget wheel. I don't see the reason on knocking on them if you haven't owned one. I've owned a set of tenzo rims on my celica and never had a problem with them. Of course I didn't race, but once, I hit a really huge pothole and no damage.

Thanks to the honda community, I think that is why these rims seem cheap to everyone. IMO if it weren't popular, it would be at the same level as AXIS or Ruff

At the same time, if you live in a pot hole infested area like here in hawaii, if you bend a rim, it'll be cheaper than if you had a volk rim that needed to be replaced.

So because a wheel cracks that means they are garbage? I guess HREs are garbage then.

If YOU like them, don't worry what others think, get the damn thing.

volks and rotas crack too.
(btw i think rotas are made in the philipines, so if your cool with that, more power to you... ebay rims are made near philipines too. hong kong, china, etc, etc)

Are you saying Axis and Ruff are bad?...not saying you are...just wanted to make sure I understood you. I was thinking about maybe getting a set of Ruff Racing 279s.

I'm not saying they are bad at all. In fact, I don't see a problem with tenzo, ruff, or any of the other average rim brands. I was just saying that IMO, because of the popularity of tenzo rims with other car brands (i.e. civic/integra) that are less expensive than our 350z, they have gotten a bad rep for them. If tenzo rims were so bad, why have they been able to stay in business for so long and many keep buying them?
