Default MY Nitto INVO's only lasted 19 Days

I bought Nitto Invo's for my 18" nismo wheels

245/40/18 front

275/40/18 rear

I started hearing a vibrating noise. I took it to the local high performance tire shop. The wheels were not bent, they were in balance and my alignment was good.

They said that it was most likely the tread pattern causing the noise. I called Discount tire and they will take them back because they have a 30 day policy.

I am replacing them with Michellin Pilot Sport. I had them on my supercharged mustang with 0 issues

Cliff notes
__________

Discount tire -Good

Nitto Invo's - Bad

Weird, +1 on discount tire being good. How are you liking the Pilot sports?

Why anyone would buy tires from the “bottom” of this list is beyond me.

they are getting installed as I type, but they were great on the mustang.

Blackpearl - I had never heard of that either but since DTD was willing to take them back I wasnt taking any chances.

Where was that list when I bought them. But at least I am going from "nearly" the bottom to the top. Thanks for the list, better late than never.

You will be pleased with Michelin Pilot Sport. The difference will be like night and day.

I had this happen with a set of pirellis, once... The guy I took the car to called it "the pirelli hop".

Nope they checked everything. The tire shop said it has to be the tires. We will find out when the Michellins are on. I just want it to be right.

Very weird. Was the vibration problem definitely with all four tires?

Just to clarify... Are you getting the Pilot Sport, or the Pilot Sport 2???

Haven’t we told you 10,000 times (No… make that a million times) not to exaggerate.

Just kidding of course (as I’m sure you were as well).

Certainly David’s participation and his charts are helpful and appreciated.
