3 sets in a year? maybe round up some of those "alligators" thrown from the big rig tires on the interstate, glue those on your slicks?

Josh,

It’s Mickey Thompson, and this brand is best known for off-road and Baja racing.

Look at Avon tires. They are noisy and wear quickly (that certainly won’t bother you), but are economical and grip well.

Why don't you check out reviews on discount tire and sites like that that give you a good amount of reviews as well as manufacturers specs.

That's a decent tire, but Mickey Thompson's strength is not summer-performance tires.

If you are in fact going through 3 sets of tires in 12 months, and you don’t have a sponsor, you need to buy an economy tire. With the rate of wear you describe, I doubt that going to an expensive tire will gain much since you are obviously driving very hard. I mention Avon because they are inexpensive but still provide pretty good performance and grip.

i run the new falken F452s and i would have to say the run damn good for what they are. I had p-rosso's on the back before and honestly the Falkens stick better, but the perilli's sidewalls were stronger. They stick good in wet and dry and overall am pleased with the purchase. Ive run Yokohama's, Perilli, Dunlop and they all have things that are better than one another, but where comes improvement comes the downfall to the tire. Basically boils down to you get what you pay for.

Nitto 555. they lasted me quite awhile even after a couple of drag races and auto-x. Traction is OK, Price is cheap, and Louder than stock. currently running Nitto555 for a year and counting.
