Default Vibration/Ticking noise when VDC Kicks In

Hey guys,

Thought I would post this up and see if anyone else has encountered this issue. I tried searching through the forum with a similar problem, but have only found a constant noise problem from the stabilizer bar. My particular noise, or vibration only comes from when the VDC kicks in (the SLIP light is on) and behind me to the right, I can hear a loud vibration/ticking noise. Once the SLIP light goes off, the ticking/vibration stops. The car is an '06 Touring M/T. When I take off the VDC, and slide around in the snow, I hear nothing. I only started noticing the noise in the last few weeks. Is this normal sign that the VDC is operating correctly, or should I get it checked out?

Thanks.

I've only ever heard a hissing noise, the same as when ABS kicks in, but not really a vibration.

It's probably just sounds of it working. Probably nothing to worry about if everything is working in good order.

mine sounds excatly the same way. I think its normal.

I get it all the time going up steep driveways. It does it more now after the Hotchkis swaybars.
