Default Good tires for 800-1000?

So i'm in the market for rims/tires. Yes i know i'm going to be told by everyone to get Volks but i can't afford them. I had new 19" GTS a few months ago and they were stolen out of storage so..i only got some of the money back unfortunately. So i'm left with about 2300 to spend on tires/rims.

I want 19"s so i came down to the decision to go with either Axis Shine/Axis Matrix/Konig Afterburner(just a thought, lol) which are all about the same price so..

Any suggestions on tires for them? I'd probably run 235/35/19+275/35/19? if that's the right setup..19x8.5+15 Front 19x9.5+20 Rear

Maybe not Advans. Unless you find some used Search around man there are tons of rims for sale. I would save a little more and get the right size rims and tire instead of doing it twice or three times. You will find them

AME Tracer 02 in 19s would be nice and somewhat in your budget.

Tire wise, Toyo T1R's should be in that price range for the size you need.

no to konig afterburner plz! lol.
for the price, like they said check our AME, work, enkei, rota, 5zigen.
check out that don@tireoption, he told me a super nice price on the nitto neogen tires. (really nice tires I hear, especially for lowered cars they claim)

Well i like the style of Volk/Work but i really can't afford them.lol i had a set of Volks an i'm not in the highest of neighborhoods so i don't wanna chance getting another set. Besides spring is almost here so i want some shoes for the ride.

I really like the Volk GTV/ PIAA Super Rozza style(split 5 star) with a nice lip.
i was looking at some used PIAA SR's but the kid hasn't gotten back to me yet so. Not sure what to go for. i do like the Shines in 19" no one has had problems, the only Axis wheels i've heard complaints about were a certain batch of hiros so..

i had Neogens before and they were great, didn't have a problem with them at all.

Check the Wheel/Tire classifieds here on the forum. You could def. pick up some used GTS or another set of volks in good condition for about $2500 shipped. Just be patient...

I'd probably go with a better set of wheels from the used category.

Shameless plug - I have two sets of 19" SSR GT3 with gunmetal centers, including tires, within your budget.

So it's either Nitto Neogens or Toyo T1R's from what everyone has been saying. I've heard alot of good reviews on the BFG tires but have heard they're very loud so.lol

I'll keep on checking the used forum, I'd rather get a used nice set of volks for the same price as new axis( i loved my GTS)
