Default TPMS light will not reset?

I have aftermarket wheels without my TPMS. I've driven without them for years and usually the light turns on after driving 45 miles non stop, but then it turns off when I restart the car. Recently I sold my TPMS and when I got into my car to ship them the ECU picked up the signal and my light went on. I thought it would go away once I took them out and I restarted my car, however the light is always on all the time. I tried the ecu reset but still no fix. What do I do now?

Take it to a dealer and have it reset. I've reset my ECU for other things and it wont turn off my TPMS . I think its a different reset procedure from the ecu.

Do you think that an OBD2 scaner can clear it?

I doubt the car picked up anything from the sensor if it was just sitting in your car. They have a built-in switch that keeps them from activating until they're being driven. It works on the centrifugal force generated by the spinning wheels of the car. It helps keep the batteries from running down when the car is not moving (i.e. most of the time).

Does the annoying sensor ring at all? If so how long and often?

My light stays on all the time now. I have tried clearing all codes with an OBD2 scaner and it still stays on. Even my center console gauge cluster reads at 0 psi every time I start my car. Is there any way to clear this light? It use to clear itself before when ever I turned my ingition off, but not anymore.
