Make stock (stock upgraded) Rims Wider?!
Ive searched for this topic but I cant find too much info. I buddy of mine told me there is a way to make my rims wider. He said there are companies that can cut the wheel and add in a section to make it wider! He said they do it all the time when race cars bang up there wheels. Does anyone know if this is true, if so has anyone had this done?
I love the look of my rims but I feel like If I go Turbo in the future I am going to want wider rears.

Ok, so, Google says it can be done..

I gues the question now is, has anyone done it with their Z, is it affordable, is it worth it?

We had a thread on this a long time ago if I recall correctly, maybe try searching a little more if you're really interested. I don't really see the point, but it might be worth doing.

it has been done on track wheels but.. you must remember... however far you widen them it will be on the back of the rim.. so you may need spacers to keep everything from rubbing on the inside
