I assume you have 265/35-19” and want to replace these tires with 275/35-19”, and wonder if the larger size will rub?

If I understand your question (and you do not have some wheels with a crazy offset) the answer is: Yes you can replace the 265’s with 275’s and expect a good result (no rubbing).

Yes, that was my question.
and i actually have the stock Track wheels.
I don't know the offset.
but will a larger tire fit on the wheel w/o rub?

A 275 tire requires at least am 9" wide wheel. If you want to go 285mm wide, you should have at least a 9.5" wide wheel.

You can run either of these sizes without rubbing as long as you have the wheels with the appropriate offset.

I just search on Nissan website and find out the offset of the GT wheel offset is:
18" x 9.0" (front) and 19" x 10.0" (rear) super-lightweight 5-spoke forged alloy wheels by RAYS®

I also used to tire calculator to find out that's 1% difference between 275/35/19 and 265/35/19

So, Is 245/40/18 for 18"x9.0" (front) and 275/35/19 for 19"x10.0" (rear) a good fit???
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How do i find out the offset?
mine is just OEM GT Track 18" and 19"

Those sizes will fit. In fact, they are the minimal sizes on these wheels.

+30 offset on these wheels and the wheel width will easily accommodate a larger width tire. For example, you could go 265/40-18” front, and 285/35-19” rear.

Edit: Although you can fit really wide tires on these wheels, notice that the V2 Track Model wheel/tire setup is very heavy. I think a 30 lb. wheel with a large tire approaches an un-sprung weight that might begin adversely affecting handling characteristics.

how about 255/35-18" front and 275/35-19" rear?
what's the difference between 255/35-18" and 255/40-18"?

255/35-18" is too short on the front. A better size for the front is 255/40-18".

285/35-19" is perfect for the rear.

I have the same wheels as you. I have 255/285 F/R. OEM tire wall heights. No issues. Even with a 0.8" drop, I don't expect any issues.

On the tire specification chart you posted (and with your wheels), here are your best picks:

Front: 255/40 ZR 18 99 Y XL ...or...275/35 ZR 18 99 Y XL

Rear: 275/35 ZR 19 100 Y XL ... or... 295/30 ZR 19 100 Y XL

Do you mean

255/40 ZR 18 99 Y XL (Front) with 275/35 ZR 19 100 Y XL (Rear)
...or...
275/35 ZR 18 99 Y XL (Front) with 295/30 ZR 19 100 Y XL (Rear)

and...How do i pick between those 2 choices? What are the pros and cons?
Since I changed the tire sizes, will it affect VDC?

Yes… the front/rear configurations you list in your post. Keeping similar sizes front and rear gives more neutral steer and the rears won’t overpower the fronts. Any of these combinations will work.

255/40 ZR 18 99 Y XL (Front) with 275/35 ZR 19 100 Y XL (Rear)

275/35 ZR 18 99 Y XL XL (Front) with 295/30 ZR 19 100 Y XL (Rear)

275/35 ZR 18 99 Y XL XL (Front) with 275/35 ZR 19 100 Y XL (Rear)

255/40 ZR 18 99 Y XL (Front) with 295/30 ZR 19 100 Y XL (Rear)

About Tire Width:
  • The greater the width difference front to rear, the more understeer. Understeer is not necessarily a bad thing. In fact most cars have some amount of understeer since this is a safer setup for most drivers.
  • When you go past 255 width in front, you may experience “bump-steer” and possibly wandering a little at highway speed.

About VDC: You are changing the tires’ widths, but not the overall diameter. Since you are maintaining the overall diameter, you won’t have a problem with VDC or TCS.
