Default Talk About a "WORK"in LIP.

I just got the wheels for my race car. Not a 350 but thought y'all might like to see this. I can get several offsets in this and the wheel isn't that expensive. It's the Work Termist S1C.

Woo, now that's a lip.

PEace.

nice rim, but when did lips become so fashionable? I knew the whole 20" status thing, but now lip size too?

Those would look better on an Escalade.

The wheel seen with the MASSIVE lip is a 18x11.5 hence the lip. It has a +0 offset. These are the show wheels for the race car. I know, kind of an oxymoron. We utilize Kinesis wheels for the track.

In any case these wheels are 25lbs. Really not bad at all for this size wheel. Not only that but it is a two piece wheel. The inner barrel and face are a single "cast" unit. While the outer barrel is spun.

We were partially sponsored on these so would need to double check the retail or club prices. But I think you can have them for under $2000 shipped with hardware. This is very similar to the Gram light Pro, however that is a welded two piece while the Work is bolted.

These will definitely look better on my widebody RX7 than on an Escalade. But I know what you mean. lol. Considering this is a Japanese wheel it follows the Japanese lip making tradition. hehe. They like their deep flat lips. lol. You can get less of a lip if you desire, you just change the pad height variable. Meaning get a taller pad and you'll lose lippage.

Thanks for the reactions. hehe. You made my day. I'll check into Z33 offsets and relative widths on these wheels. I know it's a low offset wheel meaning they should be quite suitable for the 33.

They make up to 9.5's in applicable offsets.

For those who don't want aggressive.

18,8.5 +33 and 18,9.5 +26

18,9 +26 and 18,10 +20

That's all I see in the fax I got. I'll check my Work Spec book at the shop. I found this sheet in the truck and saw some offsets that should work. Let me know if I'm wrong anywhere with these fitments.

Unfortunately this is only available in 18" and I figure the Z's would want 19's.

Later.
