Would anyone recommend these tires for my Volk 19s?
Thanks!

The T1r are too expensive and I don't race. The Proxes 4 should be good enough for daily driving.

Just had a set put on the fronts. I chose them over the T1R for the same reason as you stated.

One item of note is if you're only getting two (for now), check to make sure they have your other size in stock (if you run different front and rear). Proxes 4's don't come in 275/40/18 which is what I need for rears, so I'll have to buy a different tire.

I appreciated the value of the Proxys and for a daily driver they were just as capable and a tad more comfortable. I went with the T1R simply because as DVFlyer pointed out, I had no other option at the time. The only other tire I have really cared for was the Goodyear F1 GSD3, but the new assymetrical replacement is too costly for me. I am going to give the Yoko S-Drives a try.

I just bought a set of T 1Rs in OEM 18" sizes for $656 plus shipping. What does a set of four Proxes go for?

Edge Racing was about $80 cheaper for the set of 4 T 1Rs.

Do I need to get a re-alignment after getting new tires?

I went from T1-R's to Proxes 4 and I can't tell a difference at all.
Love them!
