Default Advice on Wheels

I just picked up an '03 Touring last week and came a across what seems to be a decent deal on a set of wheels and tires. Being a noob to the Z and modding I am seeking some advice on this. I have no intentions of racing or dragging the car.

I am currently running on stock Touring wheels and tires with stock suspension but plan to go with the Eibach Pro Kit after I pick up some wheels.

Here are the specs of the new wheels:

Wheels - NAD 4 http://www.wheelwarehouse.com/p-584-...nt-silver.aspx
Front - 8.5" +35 (and 3mm spacer ONLY needed to clear BBK)
Rear - 10" +42
Tires - Vredestien Ultrac Sassanta
Front - 235/35/19 (90-95% tread)
Rear - 265/30/19 (Brand New 99% Tread)
$1600

I tried using the offset calculator but honestly can't make much sense of it but given the fact that I see most people running 9.5 front and 10.5 rear I don't think these would require any fendor rolling at all.

Appreciate any and all feedback.

These are pretty poor offsets. You will need to run a 20mm spacer in the front and rear to get these flush. Just spend the money you would use for the spacers on better fitting wheels.

The rear tire is smaller diameter than the front. That is a no no with VDC, and will look pretty bad as well. The rear tire is about 1" smaller diameter than stock size.

terrible offsets and they are probably very low quality. I haven't ever heard of NAD wheels.

Appreciate the responses and will decline this deal. I'll try to do more research to get better versed on this topic.

Look for a 255/30/19 front and a 275/30/19 rear tire.

Look for a 19X9" +22 front and a 19X10" +25 rear wheel. That's a good width and offset.

Take a look at my pics: Link
My wheels are 18*9+25 18*10+25. Tires: 275/35/18F 275/40/18R It'll help you gauge offsets. My car is Stock Height with no suspension work.
Also, checkout www.1010tire.com to get an offset calculator. Compare my sizes to your potential sizes and it'll give you the difference. Then gauge from there.

I would avoid those wheels just so I don't have to ask my friends if they would like to come over and check out my new nads. On the other hand, you could claim you have nads of "steel"

Save up more $$$$ and get a quality set of wheels & tires used/new from the forum classifieds...

I would hate to tell my buddies I'm rolling on a set of "Nads"

Wow you guys are awesome.

This member's ride really caught my fancy: https://my350z.com/forum/ride.php?do=view&id=51291

My Z is the same silver as the link above and I prefer the color (matte silver?) of those rims over a high polished or colored rim. The mesh look really works well with the car's color which is what peaked my interest with the offer that was presented to me.

The Axis Penta look great as well: https://my350z.com/forum/ride.php?do=view&id=45752 however they are a bit out of my price range.

If only I had found my Z in PPW the Gold Volks would have made this an easy decision.

I'm keeping a close eye on the classified section of the forums as well.

Thanks again!

My suggestion is take your time. Be open to more than one specific
style. Eventually an awesome, affordable set will enter the 'slightly
used' market. I have bought and sold many sets of wheels, and
regularly find prices at 50% or less than retail. Right now on ebay
there are strong racing hart deals on rims I am sure you would enjoy.
Rather than post links, go check em out and be patient. You will
be rewarded. PM me details and I will offer advice from there. Good luck.

That first wheel is the RacingHart C4. Discontinued. You may be able to get a used set in the classified section.
